LEWISTON, ID – Local Veterans will be remembering Pearl Harbor with a ceremony today.  You’re invited to join several Veteran organizations locally in the event.  The guest speaker is U.S. Coast Guard Veteran Tim Lema.

The ceremony starts at 11:00 am at the Veterans of Foreign Wars building at 1104 Warner Avenue.  After the ceremony, at roughly 11:45, the Ceremonial Wreath will be escorted by the Combat Veterans Association and American Warfighters Inc. to the Southway boat Launch, where it will be placed aboard the Sheriff’s Boat for a ceremonial laying in the river near the blue bridge.

Everyone is welcome to join the event and honor the Sailors and everyone else who died in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.
