Semi Hits Bull, Rolls Into Field

Driver Treated & Released At St. Joe's

NEZ PERCE COUNTY, ID – At 2:06 this morning, Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a semi truck crash.  When they arrived, they found the semi had rolled into a field and a bull was dead.

The Sheriff’s Office report says the truck was headed northbound on Highway 95 at Industrial Lane near Sweetwater.  That’s where a black bull was in the road.  The truck hit the bull, veered off, and flipped over into the field.

The driver, Lori Kuhns, was treated by medics, taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, and released later.

The Sheriff’s Office is taking the opportunity to remind cattle owners to regularly inspect their fence lines containing cattle and other large animals.

The Idaho State Police and Nez Perce Tribal Police also assisted managing the collision.
