NEW ORLEANS – After another week of strong performances on the track and in the field, the LC State Women’s Track and Field remained in the USTFCCCA’s Outdoor Track and Field Rating Index at No. 17.

 Madi Carson broke her own record in the pole vault at the H.I.R. Invitational in Spokane, hitting a mark of 3.78m to win the event and clinch an A national-qualifying standard.

 The women’s 4x400m relay team of Anika Grogran, Rebekka Kalmbach, Karlie Smith, and Ashley Britt hit a B standard at the meet on Friday with a time of 3:55.89. They won the event by nearly nine seconds, just missing the A standard.

 The Warriors return to the track on Saturday at WAR 14 hosted by Spokane Falls CC.
