NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Warrior tennis troupe started off its New Orleans road trip on Friday with contests against Xavier (La.). Both Xavier squads are ranked in the top 10 in the most recent NAIA rankings, with the men ranked 10th and the women at No. 3. This proved to be a tough matchup for the Warriors with both teams falling 1-6.

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Warriors are playing their best basketball, and it’s coming at the best time possible. In a stunning victory over the No. 6 Carroll College Fighting Saints, the 22nd-ranked LC State squad punched its ticket to Sioux City, Iowa to compete in the NAIA’s round of 16. The energy in the stands rivaled that on the court as a packed LC side competed with Carroll’s fans. The Warriors came out of the locker room with their foot on the gas, and they never let up.

LEWISTON, Idaho – Benedictine-Mesa looked like a new team to open Saturday’s night’s NAIA Opening Round Championship in the Activity Center, but the outcome was the same as back in January: an LC State victory. After defeating the Redhawks 80-56 in the first meeting, the No. 6 Warrior Men’s Basketball team dominated in the second meeting, 98-73, this time on a much bigger stage. With the win, LC State punched its ticket to Kansas City, Mo. with a spot in the NAIA’s round of 16.
