WSU Athletics Announces Procedures for Vaccine Verification at Gesa Field

PULLMAN – Washington State Athletics, in alignment with our football partners in the State of Washington, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Washington Huskies, will begin implementation of the new gameday vaccination verification procedures at Gesa Field starting with WSU's home football game against Oregon State on Oct. 9.

Parkway Elementary School in Clarkston Starts Remote Learning Today

CLARKSTON – After consultation with local and state health officials regarding increased COVID cases, the decision was made for Parkway Elementary School to move to remote learning starting tomorrow, September 30 until Friday, October 8. All students will return to school on October 11. 

State to Conduct Controlled Burns at Shillapoo Wildlife Area

RIDGEFIELD – The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) with assistance from the Washington Department of Natural Resources will conduct controlled burns at the North and South units of the Shillapoo Wildlife Area in Clark County this fall to remove invasive vegetation and improve habitat for migrating birds. All areas will remain open to the public during burning operations.

Peck Idaho Man Charged With Second Degree Murder After Killing Orofino Man

OROFINO -- On Saturday, September 26, the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a camper on fire in an undeveloped campground on Forest Service Road 103. The reporting party advised there was a deceased person at the camper. This was determined to be in Idaho County and both Idaho and Clearwater County deputies responded.

WSU Alerts Test Wednesday

PULLMAN -- The WSU Alert System will have a test alert on Wednesday, September 29 at noon. Faculty, staff, and students who have signed up for emergency notifications from the Pullman campus will receive text messages, phone calls, emails, and desktop alerts which will all be clearly identified as a test.
