Avista Customers in Rosalia Will Experience a Planned Power Outage on Friday

Spokane, Wash. Dec. 18, 2019: Approximately 652 Avista electric customers in Rosalia and the surrounding areas will experience a planned power outage on Friday, December 20. The outage will occur between approximately 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. and is necessary as an Avista crew will be working to replace a damaged voltage regulator in the Rosalia substation.

Meeting by conference call on Wednesday, Dec. 18, the Idaho Fish and Game Commission reopened steelhead fishing in the Clearwater River and lower Snake River downstream of Couse Creek Boat Ramp, beginning on Jan. 1. Daily bag limit in those sections is limited to one adipose-clipped steelhead per day, none over 28 inches in length.

Liquor and Cannabis Board Suspends Licenses for Three Vapor Product Retailers – First Since Flavor Ban

OLYMPIA, WA -- The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) today issued a Board Order of Suspension for three businesses who are not in compliance with the state’s recent Emergency Ban of Flavored Vapor Products. Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training is celebrating 50 years of outstanding service to law enforcement and the citizens of Idaho. The event will be held Tuesday, January 7th at 10:30 AM at the Gymnasium in the POST Administration Building (Building 3) on the Meridian campus of the Idaho State Police (ISP).  During the ceremony, Governor Brad Little will announce January 7th, as Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Day and recognize the valuable contribution POST has made to public safety in Idaho. 

No. 12 Warriors Use Big Second Half to Power Past Maine-Fort Kent

LEWISTON, Idaho – The No. 12 Lewis-Clark State Women’s Basketball team closed out the home games for this decade with an 84-48 win over Maine-Fort Kent on Tuesday night. Led by 14 points each from Kiara Burlage and Abbie Johnson, the Warriors used a big second half to improve to 9-2 on the young season. LC State allowed just 14 points in the second half.
