Kittitas County Approved To Move To Phase 3 of Gov. Jay Inslee's Safe Start Plan

OLYMPIA -- Today Washington State Secretary of Health John Wiesman approved Kittitas County to move to Phase 3 of Gov. Jay Inslee’s Safe Start plan.

A total of three counties are in Phase 1, two counties are in a modified version of Phase 1, 18 counties are in Phase 2 and 16 counties are in Phase 3.

Umatilla National Forest Opens Additional Access On Tucannon River Road (Forest Service Road 47)

PENDLETON, Ore. – To allow additional public access, the Umatilla National Forest is adjusting the closure gate today on the Tucannon River Road (Forest Service Road 47) from the Tucannon Fish Hatchery to the Tucannon Campground. The new closure boundary will be located just past the campground. The Tucannon Campground will also reopen today for overnight camping.

"After searching for 11 days the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office has suspended the search for Gordon White. The search involved not only Clearwater County Search and Rescue members but also many community members and other Search and Rescue Units from all over Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon. I would like to thank everyone that volunteered to help with the search and those that provided food and supplies for the searchers. There were several people that dropped everything else and came and helped search everyday of the search. This case will remain open until Gordon is found."

Investigation into Damage to the Liberty Bell Replica Outside the Idaho Statehouse

This morning, state employees were able to repair much of the damage done to the Liberty Bell replica that sits in front of the Idaho Statehouse. The damage was reported to have occurred Saturday evening. Idaho State Police are investigating the vandalism.
