Caldwell Man Sentenced to 7.5 Years for Trafficking Methamphetamine Near a School

BOISE – Francisco Martinez Campos, 57, of Caldwell, was sentenced in U.S. District
Court to 90 months in prison for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute near a
school, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis announced today. Chief U.S. District Judge David C. Nye
also ordered Campos serve eight years of supervised release following his prison sentence.
Campos pleaded guilty to the charge on December 18, 2019.

MOSCOW, Idaho — May 13, 2020 — The ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center gravel parking lot will be transformed into a free drive-in movie theatre for the next four Saturdays for the community to enjoy.

The University of Idaho, City of Moscow and Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre have teamed up to provide a fun movie experience during the pandemic. The Moscow Drive-In gate opens at 7 p.m., and movies start at 8 p.m. Enter on Stadium Drive.

On May 13, 2020, Clearwater County Deputies responded to a Theft complaint on Grandview Drive. During the course of the investigation three suspects were located; 48 yr old Christopher T. Moser of Bellevue WA, 43 yr old Malinda J. Lamontagne of Emunclaw WA and 53 yr old Victor E. McCollum of Clarkston WA. All three suspects were arrested for Possession of stolen property. In addition Moser and Lamontagne were charged with Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). McCollum was also charged with Burglary and Grand Theft related to a Burglary on Bald Mountain Road on the 7th of May. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are pending.

Gov. Jay Inslee issued guidance today for resuming personal services and professional services for counties granted variance under the Safe Start Phase 2 recovery plan laid out last week.

Through the Washington "Safe Start" plan, more businesses and activities will re-open in subsequent phases with adequate safety and health standards in place. Each phase will be at least three weeks — metrics and data will guide when the state can move from one phase to another.
