Bennett Lumber Products, Inc. is a family owned and operated sawmill with locations in Princeton, ID and Clarkston, WA.  We are seeking a full-time machinist for our Princeton, ID facility.  The successful applicant must be capable of precision machine work.  They must be able to interact with all departments to build new or replacement parts for the mill.  They must be able to operate shop equipment (lathes, horizontal and vertical CNC mils, drill press, band saws, cranes, etc.).  We prefer but don’t require sawmill experience.  CNC experience is required

LEWISTON, ID – 300 new jobs popped up in Lewiston last month according to statistics released by the ID Department of Labor.  That brings the Lewiston total to 1,000 since January. The unemployment rate fell slightly to 2.6% which puts the state at the 15th consecutive month of rates below 3%.  The Gem State is beating the national average of 3.7%.

LEWISTON, ID – High winds and snow may be on the way to the LC Valley and, even more so, the Palouse and Prairie.  The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for most of the northwest.  Tonight southwest winds are expected to reach 25 miles per hour, especially on the Palouse with gusts up to 40 mph.
