Bennett Lumber Products, Inc. is a family owned and operated sawmill with locations in Princeton, ID and Clarkston, WA.  We are seeking full-time entry level employees for our Princeton, ID facility.  These entry level positions are responsible for cleanup as well as operating machine centers in either the sawmill or planer.  Entry level employees are provided opportunities to quickly gain skills, learn, and be promoted.

Nez Perce Tribe to Award Annual Education Grants

The Nez Perce Tribe will award the annual Local Education Program Fund grants on August 22nd, 2019. The event will take place at the Clearwater River Casino & Lodge at 12:00 p.m. This year, over $367,000 will be awarded, with approximately 48 awards being distributed. These funds will be used to assist local schools, youth programs, and other community opportunities

LEWISTON, ID - On Monday, the Lewiston Police Department receieved a call at the 200 block of Prospect Ave from a woman who owns a house, she rents out throug  Air Bnb. No one was schduled to be there, however there was a car parked outside the property. The officers went inside to find 24 year old Johnathan Peterson, a homeless man. 

Idaho Department of Labor Program Offers Support to Recently Released Incarcerated Vets

Veterans who have been incarcerated - whether city, county, state or federal facility - and have been released within the last 12 months, may be eligible for services under the Incarcerated Veterans Transition Program (IVTP).
The program, managed by the Idaho Department of Labor, can provide services such as classroom training, on-the-job-training, occupational skills training, apprenticeship training and retraining. 

Annual Quad Cities Walk to End Alzheimer's Takes Place Saturday September 21

PULLMAN, WA - Hundreds of area residents will gather together in Pullman on Saturday, September 21 for the annual Quad Cities Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Last year, this inspiring event raised $30,409 to fight Alzheimer’s disease and provide care and support programs for local families.
