Lewiston, ID – The Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport Authority announced that construction of the runway reconstruction project which began in late March, is now complete. LWS plans to reopen this runway tomorrow, Friday, July 17, 2020.

The Nebraska State Patrol cruiser was voted the “2019 Best Looking Cruiser.” The contest began a friendly competition between state agencies as a fun way to allow community support and interaction with law enforcement in a positive manner.

Lapwai, Idaho- Over the last several weeks, Nimiipuu Health has hosted two COVID-19 mass testing events. The first in Lapwai on June 29 and the second in Kamiah on July 4. Between these two events, close to 400 tests were conducted. The test samples, nasopharyngeal swabs, were sent to an external lab for analysis.

To spot the comet, look just below the big dipper. The comet will be higher in the sky each evening and will be the highest and brightest on July 23. NASA says it wont be back again for 6800 years.
