LEWISTON, Idaho – The final Frontier Conference Tournament for No. 7 Lewis-Clark State Men’s Basketball is set to begin on Friday when the Warriors host Montana-State Northern at 7 p.m. The fifth-seeded Lights upset the fourth-seeded Montana Tech Orediggers in Tuesday’s quarterfinal to advance to play in Lewiston.

Seattle -- Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it has reached settlements with three Inland Northwest sellers and manufacturers of aftermarket automotive parts specializing in heavy duty diesel pickup trucks -- Diesel Power Products, Alligator Diesel Performance, and Deviant Race Parts -- to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Air Act associated with the manufacture and sale of aftermarket products that defeat the emissions control systems of heavy-duty diesel engines. 

Twin Falls Man Sentenced to 25 Years in Federal Prison for Drug and Gun Crimes

BOISE – David Paul Roberts, 60, of Twin Falls, was sentenced to 300 months in federal
prison for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and a concurrent sentence of
120 months in prison for the theft of firearms, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis announced today.
U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill also ordered Roberts to serve five years of supervised
release following his prison sentence. Roberts pleaded guilty to both charges on October 1, 2019.

COEUR D'ALENE B Ryan James Cook, 35, and Richard Gordon Bashaw, 49, both of
Grangeville, Idaho, and Justina Maemarie Foster, 39, of Lewiston, Idaho, were arrested on
February 27, 2020, on federal gun and drug charges, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis announced.
The charges stem from a February 19, 2020, eight-count indictment filed in U.S. District Court
by a federal grand jury sitting in Coeur d’Alene

Warrior Track and Field Heads to Nationals

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Lewis-Clark State Track and Field team is heading to Brookings, S.D. to compete for national titles and All-American honors at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Nationals. The Warriors have two relay teams and four individuals that are prepped and ready to travel to the Midwest to perform in the three-day meet, which will kick off on Thursday at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

ITD To Clear Trees Along Idaho Highway 162 In The Coming Weeks To Make It Safer

LEWISTON—Trees along Idaho Highway 162 near milepost 20 will be removed in the coming weeks to improve safety for drivers, with work scheduled to start today.  

Maintenance crews will gradually remove trees that appear to be dead or dying within this road section. The highway will be reduced to one lane and closed completely for approximately 15 minutes each time a tree is dropped.
