ASOTIN, WA – Jason Waits was found not guilty of assaulting an officer in court Friday.  He was, however, convicted of obstructing justice and resisting arrest.  The original charges stemmed from an incident on July 4th in which Clarkston Police officers responded to his home on 9th Street twice to ask Waits to turn his music down.  Repeated complaints from at least one neighbor summoned the police.
