Last week we reminisced about businesses that are no longer apart of this great valley we call home. We talked about Hastings and all the memories that were made at the store - we talked about Big V and how it had everything you could ever want. We even talked about Godfather's Pizza and Granny's buffet where we all had countless family dinners.

Today, we're talking about those places you like to go to outside of the valley -  we're discussing if you had a choice to bring a major store, restaurant, arcade anything to the valley what would it be? Well, we asked you guys that exact question and you did not disappoint. Here are the top 10 most wanted businesses in the LCV. 

Washington State Bans Vapor Products Containing Vitamin E Acetate

OLYMPIA – Today the Washington State Board of Health expanded its emergency rule on vapor products to include a new section banning the sale of vapor products containing vitamin E acetate. The Department of Health recommended the update based on new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) findings connecting vitamin E acetate and vaping associated lung injury.

Tori Edwards Voted Frontier Conference Newcomer of the Year – Four Warriors Earn All-Frontier Conference

WHITEFISH, Montana – After fighting their way back into the national rankings for the first time since 2016 and finishing with a record of 20-11, four Lewis-Clark State Volleyball players have been named All-Frontier Conference. Sophomore transfer Tori Edwards was named the conference’s Newcomer of the Year and was also voted first team, along with senior Brooke Kaawa. Senior Gionni Brown was named to the second team and Carli Berntson was voted to the all-freshmen team.

Assault In Asotin County

On Nov 15, 2019 at approximately 11:55 p.m., Asotin County deputies were advised of an assault that occurred in Clarkston. The caller advised Whitcom dispatch that he had been shot and stabbed and that the man who did it was passed out on his floor. Deputies had just left the Anatone area after responding to a call and had an extended arrival time. Clarkston Police were asked to assist at the scene until deputies arrived.

The reception was overwhelming - a total of 324 comments were made on that post. A ton of nostalgia was felt - along with memories coming back that you may have completely forgot about. That post inspired this list, we went through all of the comments to put together a top ten list. 

Farmers Insurance® Agent William Grizzell Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Lewiston

Lewiston, Idaho – Farmers Insurance® agent William “Bill” Grizzell is celebrating the opening of his new office in Lewiston, Idaho with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The celebration will be held at Grizzell’s office from noon to 2:30 p.m. on October 29 and include a buffet lunch and door prizes.

2019 Christmas for Kids Applications Available

Moscow, Idaho — Do you need a little help providing gifts to your children this holiday season? Christmas for Kids is a non-profit organization that distributes Christmas gifts for children living in the Moscow area. Applications for families that need assistance this season are now available at the Community Action Partnership (428 W 3rd St #4, Moscow), on the Moscow School District website ( under the “Community Event Flyers” tab or on the Christmas for Kids Facebook page (@CFKMoscow).
