CLARKSTON, WA – A group of family and friends is rallying behind a woman fighting cancer on the 9th.  The “Cancer Sucks” benefit auction features dinner, live music, a silent auction, and a live auction to raise money for Doreen Longellow (Teigen).  She has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer that has spread to her brain and liver.

LEWISTON, ID – Nez Perce County Commissioners want to hear what you have to say about the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport.  A variety of issues have surfaced in the last year surrounding the airport management and Airport Authority Board. 

MOSCOW, ID – The University of Idaho has released its list of graduates from last fall.  Vandals earned 587 degrees during the semester that ended in December. 

OLYMPIA, WA – A bill headed toward the Governor would increase traffic fines partly to help collect research on concussions to youth athletes participating in sports other than high-impact contact sports.  The bill also increases funding for collection of studies of female youth athlete concussions.

ASOTIN COUNTY, WA – Phase two is starting on the new fire station for the Asotin County Fire District.  Right now, the work crews are waiting for the weather to improve to finish phase one with concrete and gravel spreading.

LEWISTON, ID – Early this morning, a man allegedly drove off the road, crashed into trees, and left the scene on foot headed toward the Clearwater River. 

A press release from the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Billy Windham crashed the car on Highway 12 near mile post 17.  A witness told deputies that the driver had left the scene.  Shoe prints led deputies toward the river and through the brush.  Windham was located at Gibbs Eddy Fisherman’s Access.
