LEWISTON, ID – A former Lewiston man is behind bars in California today on charges of sex offense involving a 16-year-old Lewiston girl.  LPD Investigators say 24-year-old Jessie Daniel Barnes and the victim exchanged numerous sexually explicit photos and videos between October and December this year.

LAPWAI, ID – The Chief Joseph Foundation just got a boost from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust.  The $92,500 grant is designed to help Nez Perce Youth connect to their heritage and traditions.  The money was given to the Foundation to help build the indoor horse arena they have planned.
