CLARKSTON, WA – Students were evacuated today from both Lincoln Middle and Heights Elementary Schools. They were taken straight to the future Asotin County Fire District building on Appleside where parents could pick them up for the day.
The Clarkston School District sent out a message to parents that said the decision to evacuate came after they found a bomb threat. It hasn’t been confirmed by the school district or the Sheriff’s Office yet, but one student walking several blocks with his mother to their car said that the threat is likely connected to the threat that came yesterday in which a student told others that they should stay home from school today. This morning the School District sent out a press release assuring parents that there was no need to worry about yesterday’s threat.
