BOISE, ID - Idaho is well known for its potatoes, but did you know you could sleep in one? About 30-minutes from downtown Boise, there's an Airbnb called the Big Idaho Potato Hotel. While the Airbnb doesn't look like much on the outside, it is incredibly well furnished on the inside. The structure measures out at 28 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 11 feet tall. There's enough space inside for a queen size bed and a cozy lounge area. 

Regence parent company pays $10,000 fine to Washington state

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler issued a fine against Cambia Health Solutions, Inc., parent company of Regence BlueShield, Asuris Northwest Health and Commencement Bay Risk Management Insurance Co., for failure to notify his office about the arrest of the incoming CEO of the company that it sought an affiliation with.

Portland, Ore. – The Bonneville Power Administration and its partners report that in 2020, for the 23rd consecutive season, the Northern Pikeminnow Sport Reward Program met its annual goal to remove 10% to 20% of pikeminnow, 9 inches or longer, in the Columbia and Snake rivers that prey on juvenile salmon and steelhead. 

Band, Orchestra Students Invited to Participate in World Premiere Composition

MOSCOW, Idaho — Jan. 14, 2021 — The University of Idaho Lionel Hampton School of Music (LHSOM) invites all ninth through 12th grade band and orchestra students throughout the United States to perform in a virtual world premiere composition created by U of I Professor Dan Bukvich. 

Boise Man Sentenced for Federal Building Bomb Threat

BOISE – Kristopher Allen Wrede, 30, of Boise, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to
one year in federal prison for making a telephonic bomb threat, U.S. Attorney Bart M. Davis
announced today. Chief U.S. District Judge David C. Nye also ordered Wrede serve three years
of supervised release following his prison sentence. Wrede pleaded guilty to the charge on
October 13, 2020.
