Police Need Help Finding Robber

On 06/17/15, at approximately 3:20pm, Lewiston Police received a call of a robbery that just occurred at the Mini-Storage at 2820 16th Ave.  The caller said a male had just robbed the office of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.  Upon arrival, officers searched the area but no suspect was found. The suspect description was a white male, wearing a ski mask, dark colored t-shirt, and jeans.  The suspect was last seen leaving Southbound from the office on foot.  Lewiston Police are working on getting video from the scene to assist with the investigation.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Lewiston Police Department at 208-746-0171.

The Mobile Food Bank will be at the parking lot of Our Savior's Lutheran Church 1115 13th Street, Clarkston, Friday June 19th from 11am-1pm. You need no appointment or documentation, no embarrassing questions will be asked. Just show up with a box for your food.

National Debt Could Double in 20 Years

Washington, D.C.  – Idaho Senator Mike Crapo has been warning about the growing federal debt during the nearly 90 town meetings he has held across Idaho since last fall.  Now, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has issued a report adding to those concerns:  left unchecked, the debt will double in two decades and could soon exceed the total economic output of the U.S.

Erica VanLuven is a fighter with a kind heart. She lost her step-father of 24 years, Jim Tushhoff, to brain cancer ten years ago, and spent five years being angry. Then she attended her first Relay for Life and was moved emotionally. She found some new family at the event, as many seem to do, and a life’s passion.
