Snohomish County Net Nanny Operation Leads to 7 Arrests

Snohomish County- Seven men were arrested in Snohomish County over the course of several days as part of an operation identifying individuals allegedly involved in the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. This multi-day operation involved the Washington State Patrol (WSP), local Snohomish County law enforcement agencies and several partner agencies.

Idaho Fish and Game Proposes Changes in Wolf Hunting/Trapping For 2020

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is proposing seven extensions of the 2020 wolf hunting seasons and two proposed changes to open more areas to wolf trapping and extend trapping seasons. A Record 26 Million Americans Will Wager on Super Bowl LIV

WASHINGTON – Approximately 3 million more American adults say they will wager on this year’s Super Bowl than last year, according to new data released today by the American Gaming Association (AGA). The AGA estimates Americans will wager approximately $6.8 billion on the NFL championship game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Local Libraries Will Now All be Fine Free

Beginning February 1, the Asotin County Library, Asotin School Libraries, Clarkston School District Libraries, Clearwater Memorial Public Library, Lapwai School Libraries, Lewiston City Library, Lewiston School District Libraries, Orofino School District Libraries and the Prairie River District Libraries will all be fine free!  This announcement follows a national trend of libraries forgoing charging their patrons fines for late materials.
