Lewiston Man Missing

***UPDATE***  According to the LPD: "23 year old Lonney Spencer is no longer considered a missing person. No other information is available at this time."  Comments on a DailyFly article on Facebook have suggested that he was found deceased, but have not been confirmed by immediate family or the Lewiston Police Dept.

LEWISTON, ID - The Lewiston Police Department is asking for your help. 23 year old Lewiston resident Lonney Spencer is missing. Spencer was last seen in Lewiston on July 5th. He is believed to be driving his white 2012 Chevrolet 1500 pickup.

Gun Club Rd Closed Tuesday

LEWISTON, ID – Gun Club Road will be closed Tuesday.  It will be completely shut down from Lapwai Road to Stewart Ave from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.  The City of Lewiston is extending Nez Perce Drive from where it ends now, near the theater, to Gun Club Road, and they need to lay a drainage pipe across the road as part of the project.

Truck #2 Pulled From River

MYRTLE, ID – The second of three vehicles in the Clearwater River has been pulled out.  The Idaho State Police pulled the pickup from the river this morning.  It originally went in on the morning of June 5th around 12:30.  No one was injured in that crash. 

Nisqually John Fire Morning Update

60% Contained

COLTON, WA – The Nisqually John Fire crew has doubled the containment amount overnight.  It’s now 60% contained according to the Incident Commander’s estimate.  So far about 1,350 acres have burned.  Four crews are working today with the hopes of having it 80% contained by tonight and just putting out remaining hot spots by tomorrow morning.

COLTON, WA - Tonight, fire crews will keep watch on the Nisqually John Fire.  It started yesterday at or near the Nisqually John Recreation area on the north side of the Snake River.  It's about 15 miles west of Clarkston.  So far it  is 30% contained.

Search Continues For Missing Man

Garfield County

POMEROY, WA – A man is still missing in Garfield County.  The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office would like your help to find Charlie Roy Wilkie, Jr.  He also goes by “C J”.  He was last seen in Walla Walla on Sunday at about 8:00 pm.  His truck was found in Garfield County Monday morning on Highway 127 at Central Ferry.

Alleged Thefts in Kooskia & Kamiah

KOOSKIA, ID – A man is charged for 12 counts of felony and misdemeanor crimes by the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.  29 year old Kooskia resident Clayton R. Robertson was arrested Tuesday for a burglary from the Kamiah Dabco business.  When deputies seized the stolen items, they also found stolen goods from the Kooskia Saddliers.
