LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State Women’s Basketball season-opening weekend against Carroll College, originally scheduled for Nov. 14 and 15, has been postponed due to several members of the program testing positive for the coronavirus. Consistent with CDC guidance, safety measures have been taken and anyone that may have had close contact with the individuals has been notified.

LEWISTON, Idaho – Consistent with CDC guidance on asymptomatic testing and close contact regarding a positive coronavirus test involving the men’s basketball team, the LC State Men’s Basketball exhibition on Friday has been postponed out of an abundance of caution. Safety measures have been taken and anyone that may have had close contact with the individual has been notified.

Troopers Arrest Montana Homicide Suspect Following A Traffic Stop On I-90

An Idaho State Trooper stopped a vehicle traveling on Interstate 90 in Kootenai County at approximately 10:00 a.m. yesterday morning after the trooper witnessed a traffic violation. Following further investigation, an occupant of the vehicle was arrested and booked into the Kootenai County Jail on a Deliberate Homicide warrant out of Yellowstone County, Montana.

CLARKSTON SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS IN GRADES 7-12 MOVE TO DISTANCE LEARNING FOR TWO-WEEKS

Clarkston, WA—Starting on Thursday, November 5, 2020, Clarkston School District students who attend Lincoln Middle School, Clarkston High School, and the Educational Opportunity Center will move to the Distance 1 schedule (remote learning). Remote learning for students 7-12 will begin November 5 and conclude on November 19. Staff will be on-site to plan and deliver online instruction. Students in grades K-6 are unaffected so elementary schools will continue in the current Modified 4 schedule. During the two-week closure the District will be cleaning, disinfecting, and airing out facilities.

 

Over 5,100 Rainbow Trout Stocked In Elk Creek Reservoir and Dworshak Last Week

Hatchery staff are now busy cleaning and winterizing fish stocking trucks after the final fall rainbow trout stocking last week.  Approximately 3,000 fish were stocked in Elk Creek Reservoir near the town of Elk River and 2,100 fish were released into Dworshak Reservoir last Thursday, October 29.
