Five Residents Displaced After Pullman Apartment Complex Destroyed By Fire

PULLMAN, WA - Five people were displaced after a fire destroyed a four-plex apartment building on Military Hill in Pullman Friday evening.  According to a press release, firefighters responded to the 100 block of NW Stadium Way at around 8:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a structure that was fully involved in flames.

PULLMAN, WA - Three people, including a Lewiston woman, were arrested for allegedly selling drugs in the region.  According to a press release from the Whitman County Sheriff's Office, Detectives from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a residence in the 1900 block of NE Terre View Drive in Pullman last night.  The move came after they received information that the occupants of the home were reportedly in possession of illegal narcotics.

Semi Crash Blocks Red Wolf Crossing Bridge/Highway 128

CLARKSTON, WA - The Washington State Department of Transportation says a semi crash has blocked State Route 128 in both directions.

"Semi-truck collision has blocked the intersection of SR128 and SR 193, on the Red Wolf Bridge.. WSDOT is on scene providing traffic control. The South end of the Red Wolf Bridge and SR 128 going into Idaho is blocked. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available," according to the agency's 511 site.

Discharge Flows Increased From Dworshak Dam & Reservoir

AHSAHKA, ID - Discharge flows from Dworshak Dam and Reservoir were increased yesterday afternoon from approximately 6,000 cubic feet per second to about 12,500 c.f.s. to make room in Dworshak Reservoir to meet seasonal flood-risk-management requirements. The water surface elevation of the mainstem Clearwater River are expected to increase by about 8-9 inches during this outflow increase, as measured at the U.S.G.S. streamgage located near Peck, about four miles downstream of Ahsahka. Additional increases may be necessary as conditions change.
