COLFAX, WA- Saturday morning, deputies responded to the report of a stranded vehicle on a remote portion of Crumbaker Road just north of Colfax.  After arriving on scene and making contact with the driver and his passenger, it was determined that neither of the individuals were licensed to drive and both were convicted felons. Both individuals also appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. Further observations keyed deputies in on expended ammunition casings in and on the vehicle, which lead them to believe there may be firearms in the vehicle.

Warrior pitching combined for a one-hitter for the first time since 2014. LC State tallied 15 hits and the pitching staff struck out 13.

Man Arrested on First-Degree Murder Charges After Shooting his Ex-Son-In-Law

LEWISTON, ID - Friday evening, at approximately 5:56 P.M., the Lewiston Police was contacted about a shooting that had taken place at the Lewiston Rosaures parking lot. The caller reported that her brother had been shot in the parking lot. Officers arrived within two minutes of the shooting and detained the suspect who had stayed near his vehicle.

No. 24 LC State Baseball Upends No. 13 Westmont in Season Opener

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The No. 24 Lewis-Clark State Baseball team made a statement in the 2021 season opener when it upended the No. 13 Westmont Warriors 13-2. There was no lack of offense for LC State as the Warriors in red and navy tallied two runs in the first and third, then added five in the fifth and four in the seventh in the rout. Riley Way and Jack Johnson both had three hits in the contest.

Early yesterday morning, Thursday, February 4th, law enforcement personnel from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an assault in the city of Pomeroy. A male victim in his 40’s was transported to the Garfield County Hospital District by emergency medical techniciansfrom Garfield County Fire District #1. The victim was later transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho.
