LEWISTON, Idaho – Junior Travis Yenor said it best when he said, “We had to grind like this to shine like that.” And grind they did. In front of a rowdy crowd in the LCSC Activity Center on Monday night, the No. 7 Lewis-Clark State Men’s Basketball team became Frontier Conference Champions for the last time, defeating No. 17 Carroll College for the second-straight year. The Warriors dominated the court, making big defensive stops and shooting the lights out to earn a 75-54 victory on their home court.

BOISE – (March 9, 2020) – With global crude oil prices already reeling from decreased demand due to the spread of coronavirus, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and other major crude producers failed to agree on additional production cuts at recent meetings, prompting Saudi Arabia to retaliate by slashing prices.  The combination sent shockwaves through the market over the weekend, forcing the West Texas Intermediate benchmark below $30/barrel for the first time since 2016.  Crude oil prices generally impact 50 percent of the price of gasoline.

On March 7, 2020 at approximately 6:32 pm, Lewiston Police and Fire personnel responded to the Timber Inn, 3025 East Main Street after they received a report of a man being stabbed. 68 year old Lewiston resident, Dennis Baker sustained stab wounds to his torso and arm area. He was transported to Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

BROOKINGS, S.D. – The final day of the 2020 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships was filled with success for Lewis-Clark State. All three Warriors that raced earned All-American honors, with Clayton VanDyke finishing as the National Runner-Up in the 800m, Emily Adams racing to third in the women’s 3,000m, and Cole Olsen taking sixth in the men’s 3,000m.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The NAIA announced the student-athletes selected to play in the 2020 NAIA All-Star Basketball in Kansas City on Mar. 24, and No. 7 Lewis-Clark State’s Josiah Westbrook was named to the West Team. NAIA DI and DII seniors were nominated by their coaches and selected by the NAIA All-Star Game committee.

LEWISTON, Idaho – The final Frontier Conference Tournament for No. 7 Lewis-Clark State Men’s Basketball is set to begin on Friday when the Warriors host Montana-State Northern at 7 p.m. The fifth-seeded Lights upset the fourth-seeded Montana Tech Orediggers in Tuesday’s quarterfinal to advance to play in Lewiston.

Seattle -- Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced it has reached settlements with three Inland Northwest sellers and manufacturers of aftermarket automotive parts specializing in heavy duty diesel pickup trucks -- Diesel Power Products, Alligator Diesel Performance, and Deviant Race Parts -- to resolve alleged violations of the Clean Air Act associated with the manufacture and sale of aftermarket products that defeat the emissions control systems of heavy-duty diesel engines.
