Concerned Citizens Report An Increase Number Of Dogs Chasing Deer In The Clearwater Region

Dogs chasing deer is becoming a common call in the Clearwater Region lately. Concerned citizens reported a spike in dogs chasing deer numbers in the Kamiah, Kooskia and Grangeville areas. Deer are being chased, injured and at times eaten alive by dogs running at large.

WADOT East sounded off on Twitter to help find lost stuffed pig.

"We need your help! A stuffed pig was left at the EB I-90 Sprague Lake rest area a few weeks ago! The owner of the stuffed pig (pictured below) is a one-year-old little girl. She lost it the night of Jan. 12 and is hoping to find it. Wondering if anyone picked it up or found it?"

Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), awarded $1,662,419 to expand access to HIV care, treatment, medication, and prevention services in Washington. These six awards are a critical component of the Administration’s Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE) initiative, which aims to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by 90 percent by 2030.
