CLEARWATER COUNTY, ID – Just after midnight Monday morning Orofino Firefighters rushed to a structure fire at 185 Old Ahsahka Grade.  The two homeowners, Pamela and Gerrard Stamper, reported waking to the sound of a fire alarm.

MOSES LAKE, WA – Someone stole a rifle from a deputy’s patrol vehicle in Grant County.  The Sheriff’s Office is offering a $1,500 reward for the return of the firearm.  The vehicle was parked outside a home in Moses Lake Wednesday morning when it happened.

LEWISTON, ID – Today’s airport board meeting starts at 4:00 pm.  It’s on the third floor of the Airport Terminal.  The fourth item on the agenda is comments from the public.  The fifth is a presentation to Manager Stephanie Morgan with the American Association of Airport Executives Certified Manager Endorsement.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

LAPWAI, ID – The Nez Perce Tribal Law Enforcement is trying to take care of the homeless as winter approaches, and they’re asking for your help.  They’re collecting items for Blessing Bags including deodorant for men and women, mini shampoo bottles, personal wipes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs and hair brushes, rubber bands, Q-Tips, and bars of soap.  They’re making t-shirt bags to hold the items, so they’re also looking for clean t-shirts.

CLARKSTON, WA – If you’ve considered becoming a firefighter, here’s your chance.  The Asotin County Fire District is looking for volunteers.  The District provides the training and equipment.  Volunteers are also paid for training and receive a stipend for emergency responses and the potential for retirement as well.

PULLMAN, WA – Next week is Thanksgiving followed by the Apple Cup.  With the increased traffic across the state of Washington, Troopers will be out in force making sure everyone is safe and looking for bad drivers.  Starting Thursday, the Washington State Patrol is starting emphasis patrols in Whitman, Adams, Spokane, Grant, and Kittitas counties.

CLARKSTON, WA – A man and a woman were arrested last week for alleged involvement in methamphetamine trafficking.  Quad Cities Drug Task Force members arrested another woman for obstructing a public servant and resisting arrest during the bust.

Winter Spirit Needs Help

LEWISTON, ID – If you love the lights at Locomotive Park, the volunteers who put them up would love some help making it happen.  The park is opening up on November 17th, but they still have quite a bit of work to do.  There will be roughly 8,000 lights connected and organized to create the annual tradition.
