CLARKSTON, WA -- Cadet junior Natalie Elskamp has been awarded the “Air Force JROTC and Air Force Association Cadet Leadership Award for the State of Washington”.  Natalie competed against one junior cadet nominated by each AFJROTC unit in the State.  She will now compete in the regional competition against the winners in the States of Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Oregon.  The Regional Cadet winner will be announced on Friday 22 May.  If selected the Regional winner she will then compete for the overall top cadet in the Nation.  Natalie will be awarded the “Outstanding Cadet Ribbon” with a Silver Star for being chosen the State winner.

Petitions will not move forwarded into the rule-making process

On May 14, the Idaho Fish and Game Commission denied petitions from certain organizations that requested the Commission initiate negotiated rulemaking for allowing lighted nocks for archery hunting, and to require signage near traps and during some wolf hunting seasons. 

Denying the petitions means they will not be moved forward into any rulemaking process.

Gov. Jay Inslee today issued guidance clarifying Phase 1 outdoor recreation requirements, and set forth outdoor recreation guidance for Phase 2.

Through the Washington "Safe Start" plan, more businesses and activities will re-open in phases, with adequate safety and health standards in place. Each phase will be at least three weeks.

Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little announced today that small businesses have a new resource to access masks, gloves, and sanitizer as the state enters Stage 2 of the four-stage Idaho Rebounds plan to safely and responsibly open Idaho’s economy.

Idaho small businesses can obtain a 30-day supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) for their employees and patrons at supplies.idaho.gov.
