CLARKSTON, WA – Tomorrow is mid-term Election Day.  If you live in Washington, your ballot needs to be post-marked with tomorrow’s date, or sooner, or in a drop box by 8:00 pm.  The drop box locations are the Lincoln Middle School parking lot, Clarkston City Hall, and the County Courthouse Foyer.

Washington Poison Control and the Liquor Cannabis Board Present: Truth in Vaping

Washington Poison Control and the Liquor Cannabis Board will do an educational presentation on what vaping is and the health risks. This presentation will discuss devices used to vaporize nicotine and cannabis. An overview will be given of common products and devices that can be found in Washington State including the popular JUUL device. Research regarding the potential health hazards related to the devices will be discussed. Further, the Washington Poison Center’s experience will be discussed and current research will be reviewed regarding the dangers of short term and long term usage of vaping devices. Additionally, the speaker will have a variety of devices available, allowing the audience to see the devices first hand.
