OTHELLO, WA – Work continues on the bridge east of Othello on the main highway to western Washington from our area.  The detour on Highway 26 is no longer in place this weekend, but Monday through Wednesday traffic could be moving slowly.

LEWISTON, ID – Two drug take-back events are scheduled for today.  From noon until 4:00 pm, you can drop off unwanted medications at the REACH booth at Art Under The Elms.  From 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, you can drop off at the Asotin County Fire District station on Appleside Boulevard.

ASOTIN, WA - Asotin is humming with activity.  This weekend is the annual Asotin County Fair and Hells Canyon Rodeo. 

The Asotin Street Fair is tomorrow.  It starts early with a cowboy breakfast, continues with a parade at 10:00 am, vendors in the street, several activities throughout the day, and ends with a BBQ and a beer garden with live entertainment.

CLARKSTON, WA – Washington State Patrol Troopers are watching closely for people who don’t slow down and move over when approaching emergency vehicles on the side of the road.  The emphasis patrol starts today and runs through Sunday.  The “Move Over Law” requires drivers to slow down and move over if possible in work zones as well.
