Lewiston Mother Helps Bust Alleged Sexual Predator

LEWISTON, ID – A Lewiston mother and an LPD detective helped take down an alleged sexual predator in Pennsylvania.  Early this month the mother found out that her teen daughter had been sending nude photos and videos to a man through the app “KIK”.  The LPD says the man told the girl if she didn’t continue sending more pictures and videos, he’d share them with her family. 

Lewiston Fire Discusses Cost of Treating Asotin County Patients

ASOTIN, WA – The Lewiston Fire Chief met with Asotin County Commissioners this morning to discuss the cost of patient care in parts of the county.  Right now Lewiston medics treat patients in all of Asotin County.  Patients have the option of not riding to the hospital in the ambulance, which creates a situation in which the LFD doesn’t get any reimbursement for the cost of at least two personnel driving up to an hour to get there and another to get back if the patients aren’t inside the Asotin County Fire District or the City of Asotin boundaries.

CLARKSTON, WA – If you haven’t registered to vote yet, you can do so at the library in time to vote in November’s election.  Tomorrow, the Asotin County Library and the Lewiston City Library are hosting registration days in coordination with the League of Women Voters.
