BROOKINGS, S.D. – The Lewis-Clark State Track and Field team is heading to Brookings, S.D. to compete for national titles and All-American honors at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Nationals. The Warriors have two relay teams and four individuals that are prepped and ready to travel to the Midwest to perform in the three-day meet, which will kick off on Thursday at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex.

ITD To Clear Trees Along Idaho Highway 162 In The Coming Weeks To Make It Safer

LEWISTON—Trees along Idaho Highway 162 near milepost 20 will be removed in the coming weeks to improve safety for drivers, with work scheduled to start today.  

Maintenance crews will gradually remove trees that appear to be dead or dying within this road section. The highway will be reduced to one lane and closed completely for approximately 15 minutes each time a tree is dropped.

LEWISTON, Idaho – The final Frontier Conference Tournament for Lewis-Clark State Basketball is set to begin on Wednesday night when the third-seeded No. 21 LC State Women’s Basketball team plays host to the sixth seed, Montana Tech. The Warriors are 7-0 all-time against Montana Tech in playoffs.

Annual Native American Awareness Week At LC State Will Focus On ‘Sharing Identity’

LEWISTON, Idaho – Discussions on culture, language, and identity highlight the featured panels at the 33rd annual Native American Awareness Week at Lewis-Clark State College on March 17-20.

The theme for this year’s event is “Sharing Identity” and identity will be the focal point during two days of panel discussions. There will also be pow wows, a Friendship Banquet and the showing of the film “Reel Injun” along with the discussions. All events are free and open to the public.

Apply For Multi-Season Hunt Tags By March 31

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will hold the drawing in mid-April, randomly selecting names for 8,500 multi-season deer tags and 1,000 multi-season elk tags.

The Pacific Northwest Waterways Association encourages people to share their views on clean energy, freight efficiencies, salmon recovery and climate change during the public comment period, which ends April 13.
