OLYMPIA, WA – Strippers in the Evergreen State may get panic buttons through what could be a new law.  The idea is to keep them safe from violence while at work. 

House Bill 1756 would require the Department of Labor and Industries to do two things.  They would have to develop training for entertainers and create an entertainer advisory committee to assist with implementation of the law.

Fire Forces Family Into The Cold

CLARKSTON, WA – Clarkston and Asotin County Fire District Firefighters are currently working on a house fire on Chestnut Street.  Firefighters were paged at 12:17 am to the home at 1253 Chestnut Street to find flames shooting out the upstairs window and smoke coming from the peak of the roof.

PULLMAN, WA – Next week Cougars will have a week off, and police remind them to handle their vehicles before they leave.  Different parking restrictions are in-place while the school is out.  The difference is so that City of Pullman Maintenance & Operations staff can perform seasonal maintenance tasks on streets that would otherwise be packed with students’ vehicles.

Flash Fire Burns Hands & Faces

2 Men Transported To Harborview

LEWISTON, ID – Two men were flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for burns to their hands and faces.  The Lewiston Fire Department reports last night just before 8:00 pm, the men were in a camper trying to get a propane heater working.  While one was working on it, the other started a single-burner cooking unit.
