LEWISTON, ID - At times, it wasn't pretty - the field was painted in yellow during the second half of the Lewiston Moscow game. Both teams had to overcome self inflicting mistakes that costed them during crunch time. Lewiston's defense stepped up in the second half however, holding moscow to three points. Lewiston would complete the comeback and take down Moscow 28-24 on Military appreciation night.
The first half was very back and forth, both defenses struggled to put together a stop. Chad Redinger led the Moscow offense in the first half. Leading them on three touchdown drives.
For the Bengals, it relied heavily on its run game - which seems to be the theme for this football team. Cruz Hepburn had over 100 yards on the ground - Kash Lang did his fair share with his legs as well.
Lewiston improves to 3-3 on the season and starts league play next Friday against Coeur d'Alene. Moscow fell to 3-3 and has a league test against Sandpoint next week.
